Essential maintenance work in children’s play areas
In November 2005 the council undertook to carry out essential maintenance work to the children’s play areas to provide safe facilities. They have allocated £17,500 to achieve this. These include:
- Fix the boarded up see-saw ride
- Fix the red pedal merry go round
- Replace the two missing bungee rides
- Fix/ replace the train
- Fix the swings
The equipment is due to be delivered from the manufacturer early February and should be installed by end of February.
